Newton 805 Newlath (formerly Newlath 2000) is a BBA approved composite damp proofing membrane comprising of high density polypropylene membrane with a rot-proof polythene mesh heat welded during the manufacturing process to the surface of one side. The meshed surface creates a mechanical key to allow the membrane to be plastered, rendered or to receive dot & dab plasterboard. Newlath can be applied internally as a means of dealing with all forms of dampness inherent in structures and externally to properties suffering from driving and penetrating moisture. With over two million metres of Newton 805 Newlath installed nationally, Newlath is a cost effective and permanent method of dealing with dampness.

Typical Applications

• Internally for dealing with rising damp, salts and contaminants within existing structures.
