Advantages of Stormdry over other water repellants

We do not need to tell you how important it is to address the issues of damp and unwanted water having detrimental effects on your house, especially if it is built from stone, untreated concrete or brick. The effects that water can have on such objects are more than adverse and they can seriously reduce the quality of life inside such a house. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to try and do something about the situation that has arisen.
One solution in such a case is Stormdry. It is much like other water repellents, in that it is applied to the wall externally, applied using a roller or a brush. However, unlike other water repellants, Stormdry is cream-based and it can penetrate the walls much more extensively. Not only this, but as Stormdry is based on a proven and tested silane/siloxane technology, it does not block the pores in the masonry, like other water repellants do, but it lines them, which prevents the water and the damp from spreading, as well as allows the wall to breathe.
In addition to this, it also saves energy by insulating the house and it is also much more cost-efficient as only a single coat of Stormdry is needed to be applied unlike other similar solutions which require two coats. It also has to be noted that Stormdry can be applied safely and without repercussions to walls that are freshly painted.
